Since the language of instruction at Russian universities is Russian, foreign students usually begin their journey into higher education in Russia by studying the Russian language. The duration of the programme is 6-10 months.

In addition to the Russian language, students study specialized subjects: biology, geography, history, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, etc. Students who succeeded in passing final exams receive a certificate of completion of the preparatory faculty, which gives the right to enter the majority of Russian universities without additional exams.

Admission Requirements
To enroll in the university preparation programme, the following documents are required:

• Secondary Education Certificate;
• Confirmation on the availability of funds sufficient to pay the cost of training and living expenses;
• Motivation letter;
• Letters of recommendation.
