  • The Russian Federation is the largest state in the world. Russia occupies an area of more than 17 million square kilometers – 1/8 of the land. For comparison, Russia is almost 2 times larger than Canada (9.9 million km² ), the USA (9.6 million km²) and China ( 9.5 million km²).

    Russia borders China and North Korea in the southeast, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Mongolia and Kazakhstan in the south, Belarus, Latvia, Norway, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland and Finland in the west.

    The country has a diverse and rich nature from the Arctic islands of the north to the southern subtropics. In the east, the country is washed by the Sea of Okhotsk, the sea of Japan, the Bering Sea and the Bering Strait, in the north – the Laptev Sea, the Barents Sea, the Chukchi Sea, the Kara Sea and the East Siberian Sea, in the south – the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea, in the west – the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Finland. Famous Russian rivers – Yenisei, Ob, Volga, Lena and Amur. The largest lakes of the country: Baikal, Ladoga, Onega and the Caspian Sea.
    More than 100 nature reserves, 40 natural and 35 national parks have been created in Russia.

    Russia – the diversity of cultures

The country carefully preserves the language and culture of each people, as well as creates proper climate for a peaceful coexistence of various religions.

    Russia offers almost unlimited opportunities for those who want to relax and recover their health on the basis of several thousand sanatoriums and treatment centers, that managed to preserve the most advanced practices from the Soviet health care system and mastered the cutting-edge technologies of the world medicine. The main national resorts are Caucasian Mineral Waters, Crimea, Sochi, Anapa, Sergiev Mineral Waters, Belokurikha, etc. Despite the fact that the level of equipment and the quality of medicine are not inferior to the best world resorts, prices remain quite low.

    Many universities in the country have taken pride of place in world rankings. Studying in Russia is not only prestigious, but also profitable. The level of education in Russian universities is not inferior to European universities, and the cost of training and other services is several times cheaper.

    Today we offer more than 3,500 programmes at various universities throughout Russia, as well as at universities in the countries of the former Soviet Union. With appropriate training, our students can enroll in any of the more than 800 universities in Russia located in 85 regions of the country from Kaliningrad in the west to Vladivostok in the east.
